McManus is selected for a two-month residency at The Solo(s) Project House in Newark, NJ for the months of July and August 2012. During the residency, McManus will transform the interior of this non-traditional gallery space into an elaborate site-specific installation. An exhibition of the work is scheduled for September 2012.

Darren McManus is awarded a 2011 New Jersey State Council on the Arts Individual Artist Fellowship. Mr. McManus earned the top award of a $9,500 grant after his work, submitted with his application, received a perfect score from the panel of jurors.
